英検2級のための英作文の書き方を考えてみたのでブログにも載せてみることにした。

プリント（1）では10個の構文を伝えましたがこのプリントでは英検2級でよく出るトピックに絡ませて10個の構文の使用例を示していきます

1環境　　　環境問題は環境保護（environmental protection）の観点から公害（pollution）ごみ処理問題(garbage disposal),地球温暖化（global warming） といった重要テーマについては常に原因と対策を考えておきましょう。

またそれだけでなく3R(recycle,　reuse,　reduce)や自家発電(private power generation),電気自動車（electric car）中古品(second-hand　goods)などの言葉も重要となってきます。

 

問　　Some people say that it is difficult to reduce the amount of garbage we make. What do you think about it?　

 

解答例　　I don’t think that it is difficult to reduce the amount of garbage we make. I have two reasons.

First, technical advancement has made it easier to reduce garbage and recycle used products. More and more used materials are getting easier to be recycled and reused. Second, there is an environmental awareness among people. For example, the so-called “the 3Rs”, or reduce, reuse, and recycle. This awareness is good way to make great efforts to deal with these serious environmental problems. That is why I disagree that it is difficult to reduce the amount of garbage we make.

 

以上の解答例にはプリント（１）で暗記をおすすめした⑩,②,⑥,⑦を使っています。注意したいのは自分の知っている確実な単語、文法を使うことです。あいまいなものは使わないでください。上の文ではadvancement(進歩)を使っていますが、development,　progressとかでも大丈夫です。

 

2教育　　　教育分野では早期の英語教育(early English education)をは締めとして留学(studying abroad)の是非、留学生(international student)や文理(literature and science)選択の増減など。それに関連してインターネット、携帯電話(cell phones)、電子書籍（an electronic book）の使用についてなど。さらには部活動

（club activities）ボランティア活動などに関連した幅広いトピックが扱われています。

 

問　　These days sports club activities at some schools have become less popular. Do you think sports club activities are important in school education?

 

解答例    I think that sports activities are important in school education. I have two reasons. First, sports club activities develop a spirit of cooperation. Doing team sports such as soccer and baseball are a good way to talk to one another. It makes them create a desire to help one another.

Second, sports club activities develop mental strength among students when they are fighting. For instance, it is necessary to have strong determination when they keep trying to achieve their goals in spite of great difficulties. For these reasons, I believe that sports activities are important in school education.
