嬉しい知らせが飛び込んできました
ブログが一向に進まずスランプ状態ですが、こんな知らせなら書かずにいられません。Oさんが早稲田大学文化構想学に指定校推薦で合格しました。彼女は中３の時に佐々木塾に入ってくれました。部活は中学の時はバレーボール部、高校からはダンス部だったと思います。リーダー的性格なのでどちらも部長を務めていたと思います。文化祭などは大活躍で常に目立った存在だったんだろうなと想像してます。
佐々木塾では英語を教えました。中３でしたが高校の教材に変えかっこ付けや文型を教えました。たぶん歴代佐々木塾生で一番飲み込みがよく将来は一橋へ行って欲しいと秘かに思っていたものです。その今日まで順調に力をつけ、てっきり一般受験するものとばかり思っていたら、「昨日推薦で早稲田決まりました」と報告されてびっくり、２年続けて推薦で文化構想ということになりました。（去年はO君が合格しました）
Oさんおめでとう。ただこれがゴールではないので間違わないように。これがスタート。でも恵まれたスターであることは確かだね。この先２，３月まで受験に悪戦苦闘している同輩をしり目に優雅な生活を送れることになった。ぜひ古事記を無駄にしないで過ごして欲しい。これが佐々木塾からのはなむけの言葉です。次のステージでの報告も待っています。
最後に、英検準１級のWritingの彼女の答案があまりに素晴らしいので掲載しておきます。スペル違い以外は原文のままです。

I agree with the idea. I have two reasons for this. First,high school education in Japan should be adapted to current globalization. The idea I want tosuggest is to improve quality of English lessons. Now, in my school,I only study English grammar and there aren't any lesson to decelop speaking skill os English. I think many igh schoos are similar to my scchool in Englsh lessons. High school students won't be able to master English which is useful in globalized world unless we change the current lesson to more practical one.
Second, high school should eliminate prresure on students in their studies. Most of the high school studentd tend to feel nervous about their futures so schools need to encourage their students to study freely and actively without concerning about study for the entrance exam of the university. Therefore, students will study on based to their own will to study and their grade will raised.
Thus, I think high school education should be changed for their students to play an important role in the world.
